Rules & Terms of Use

PokeSaga is a free-to-play fan project. Pokémon, names, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners. We are not affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures Inc., or GAME FREAK.

By creating an account or using the site/game, you accept these Rules & Terms. If you disagree, do not use PokeSaga. Violations may lead to temporary or permanent bans, including related accounts (same IP/device when justified). Rules may change; continued use after publication means acceptance. Accounts and in-game assets are held by PokeSaga, with access granted as a personal use license (see Accounts).

Above any written rule: use common sense and treat others with respect.

• We do not guarantee perfect uptime or that no data will ever be lost. Servers can fail; in severe cases we may restore (rollback) to a safe backup.
• During outages or lag from attacks, some catches/items/logs may be unrecoverable.
• Items or progress lost to bugs are not automatically refunded. Report bugs instead of abusing them.
• If the project becomes unsustainable, services may be limited, merged, or shut down.

Accounts, characters, items, and related game data remain property of PokeSaga. Access is a limited, personal license to use the service — not a transfer of ownership. That license can be suspended, modified, or ended when needed to protect the community, enforce these rules, or keep the project running.

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account.
• Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing, selling, buying, or lending accounts is forbidden.
• Use a real email you control. Fake emails or account farms may be banned.
• Multiple accounts are allowed only if none exist to break rules or evade punishments.
• Use a strong unique password. We are not responsible for compromised accounts caused by weak credentials or phishing.
• Never click fake “recovery” links. Prefer HTTPS and our official site/Discord.
• We may log IPs, commands, trades, and chat for moderation and security.
• Account recovery is only through official site tools (and 2FA if enabled). Staff will never ask for your password.
• Inactive or banned accounts may be removed to reduce storage costs.
• VPN/proxy abuse used to evade bans or commit fraud may result in bans until identity is clarified.
• Support: use the Helpdesk / tickets, Discord, or in-game channels — not random DMs claiming to be staff.

• PokeSaga is freemium: there is no VIP / paid premium status. Everyone plays on the same ruleset.
• Optional donations grant SagaPoints for cosmetics and convenience — not exclusive win-critical Pokémon or P2W power.
• SagaPoints have no real-world cash value and are not property you can sell.
• Chargebacks or payment fraud may lead to permanent bans until resolved.
• Used SagaPoints are generally non-refundable; donations fund hosting and development.

• Bots, macros, scripts, or automation that remove human input between actions are banned.
• Multi-client abuse (running multiple clients to gain unfair advantage) is banned.
• Real-money trading (RMT), off-server item/account sales, and fake trades are banned.
• Loans of valuable items are at your own risk; we do not reverse most bad trades. Theft/scams may still be punished.
• Bug abuse is banned — report bugs via Helpdesk/Discord.
• Blocking spawns/NPCs, trapping players, or deliberately griefing new players beyond normal competition may be punished.
• Kill-steal and shared hunting areas are generally allowed unless paired with harassment or spawn-block abuse.
• Game balance, shops, rates, and maps may change without compensation.

• No hate speech, harassment, doxxing, sexual content involving minors, or illegal content.
• Keep public channels on-topic; use Trade/Help appropriately; avoid spam.
• Impersonating staff or using misleading names is forbidden.
• Constructive criticism is welcome; coordinated harassment or defamation of the project/staff may be punished.
• False reports and ticket spam may be punished.

Posts, comments, profile comments, and private messages on the website follow these rules, together with the rest of this page.

• No harassment or hate in posts, comments, profile comments, or messages.
• No adult, gore, or illegal images or videos. A link counts the same as posting the file.
• No spam, advertising, or chain messages.
• Do not use alternate accounts to upvote, follow, or report.
• Do not impersonate staff or other players.
• Do not post other people's personal data.
• Do not post fake moments, or edited screenshots presented as real.
• To report, use the Report button on a post, comment, profile comment, message, or profile. False or abusive reports are punished.
• Staff only see a private message when it was reported to them.
• Staff may hide or delete content and mute your social features for a period or permanently, alongside the normal punishments.

Character, guild, and similar names must not be offensive, racist, sexual, drug-related, political/religious slogans, advertising, RMT ads, or impersonations of staff/NPCs/famous brands. Illegal names may be renamed or banned.

• Sanctions range from warnings and mutes to temporary or permanent bans, at staff discretion based on severity and history.
• Related accounts/devices may be included when evidence shows connection.
• We collect technical data (IP, browser, game logs) for security and moderation. We do not sell private user data.
• Serious crimes may be reported to authorities with relevant logs.
